“Beautiful trip around Triglav National Park and a quick stop at Trieste. A lot of beautiful viewpoints, with Soča River being a real highlight. If you like the great outdoors then this is a lovely tour. It was raining badly the day I went, but this did not take away from the experience. All I would say is make sure your jacket is totally waterproof and not just showerproof!”

Škocjan is about deep narrow ravines with roar of rushing waters, about great heights between ravine rapids and ceiling of cave, about the cave ceiling looking like upside down snow forest or extraordinary scenery from another planet, about eerie darkness and evidence of the first explorer dangerous routes discovering the caves!”

“Domn (aka Gusti) picked me up at 6am for a day of fly fishing. I had never fished in Slovenia so I was hoping for a guide that could show me the ropes. Domn knew everything about the river. He knew where we should be, what flies we needed to be throwing, and he was spotting fish for me that I could not see. I think of myself as a decent fisherman, but he was a master of his craft and I would 100% hire him again to hunt the fish of the Soča.”
